As much as black and red can be powerful colors, white has a strength all of it’s own. In color therapy, white represents an innocence and protection from negativity. Jennifer Lopez has often worn winter white. It brings out her coloring and looks different from the black that everyone else wears.
I wore black for years. Still do. Even as I sit at my computer, typing this article, I am covered in black from head to toe. However, I’ve grown to love winter white. I’ve found it a powerful neutral and easy to coordinate any color with. Recently, I designed my first winter white hats. The first, Sweet December Day, has white leaves trimming the hat. For feather fans, Winter Wonderland, features a feather mount with ostrich and coque feathers.
Winter white reminds me of fresh snow and has a certain softness. It is a very feminine color and since it not a bright white, is more wearable for all types of skin tones.
