June has always been the traditional month for weddings. With wonderful weather, carefree days and the kids out of school, this was always a popular month for wedded bliss. However, many brides are now choosing July for their weddings. And of course, the date 7/07/07 will be a very popular date for many brides.
Veils are beautiful works of art. And what many people may not realize is that the design of veils can go in many directions. Veil designs vary in length and color, as well as the beading and finish. A Full Circle veil is a veil that is cut at the same length all the way around, compared to a Bouffant Veil, which is cut at an angle. A Bouffant veil is perfect for a woman who doesn’t want the veil to cover the shoulder.
Veils can be tiered, which can add fullness, or offer a traditional approach to somone who wants to drape the veil over their face for that exciting walk down the aisle. The trim and accessories are a whole other creative element. A veil can a have a wire trim which is conveinient when you want the veil to keep shape. Veils without wire trim offer a more softer look. Depending on your unique style you can go with a short and lovely veil or a long elegant veil. Fabulous touches that can add an extra sparkle to any veil is lace trim, tiaras, swarkovski crystals, flowers and colored trim.
Some of the most popular veils among brides are long ballet length veils. Another rising trend is the use of color. Many brides are incorporating colors in their dresses and veils. Red and gold ribbon trim is perfect for a winter wedding. If you are opting for a summer wedding, a barely pink veil might be the perfect touch. Also many young women are using black to their advantage as well.
A veil can be the perfect element needed to complete a bride’s dream look. Veils add elegance, mystery, tradition and beauty to a dress. They can be used to add an extra umph or to tie in the wedding colors. So be creative and have fun!
