She is a graduate of the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology.

In 2021, Polly expanded her brand to include a collection of loose leaf, artisan tea blends. The tea collection, playfully named after hats, has been wildly successful!

Polly’s speaking presentations have continued to grow as she consistently hosts and speaks to sold out events with audiences numbering in the triple digits.

2023 also opened the opportunity and honor for Polly to be the keynote speaker at the renowned, annual Sacred Heart Fundraiser Tea in Augusta, GA.

Polly holds certification in the Art of Afternoon Tea etiquette and is a member of the International Etiquette Trainers Society.

A popular guest speaker, Polly hosts etiquette classes, afternoon teas and hat trunk shows, which are often combined with afternoon tea events.

Polly Singer’s hats and teas, have been featured in the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, People, Town and Country, Forbes, Victoria, Tea Time, Southern Lady and Kentucky Monthly magazines.

Polly Singer has been recognized over the years for her many achievements in millinery design, not only by clients and fans, but others.  A few years ago, she was selected by Luxe Magazine in England as the Best Haute Couture Hat Designer in the United StatesHer hat Matisse won “Best of Show” at the TLD Design Center in Westmont, Illinois.   Polly also won the “Hats Off To Keeneland” award. In addition, her creations have been shown at numerous venues across the United States including Louisville’s KMAC Museum and the New York’s American Craft Museum.  Her hats have sold at Talbots and most recently, the luxurious Greenbrier Resort.

Most importantly, Polly’s hats have raised thousands of dollars for charities.  One of her custom designs raised $5,000 for Angel Heart Farm, an equine therapy program for children battling chronic and life threatening issues.

Polly Singer Couture Hats has been widely featured in the national press.  Her hats have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Town and Country, People, USA Today, Victoria, Southern Lady, Tea Time and Kentucky Monthly.  Polly’s unique creations have appeared on ABC’s The View and Extreme Makeover Home Edition.  Look for Polly’s designs on Millionaire’s Row and the Winner’s Circle at the Kentucky Derby, where they have appeared numerous times.

Most recently, Polly has been certified as an Afternoon Tea Etiquette trainer by the Southern California School of Etiquette and Protocol. She is also a member of the International Etiquette Trainer Society.  Polly has been featured at sell out tea events, most recently at the historic and renowned Holly Hill Inn in Midway, Kentucky. She partnered with award winning Chef Ouita Michel to create an afternoon that ladies are still talking about!

Polly Singer graduated from New York’s famed Fashion Institute of Technology with a degree in Millinery.  Other graduates from F.I.T. included Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Carolina Herrera and Eric Javits.  It was at F.I.T. that Polly learned to perfect her design and sewing skills used to make couture hats.   After graduating, she interned for Patricia Underwood, making hats for the “Austin Powers” movie.

When not making hats, Polly treasures tea, travel and time spent with friends.  She enjoys a beautiful sunset, flowers and historical fiction.
