Quite often, I’ve purchased white or ivory vintage hats and they have had spots on them.  It can be a challenge to clean hats.

The upside of Nustraw is that it is non-toxic and does not use caustic chemicals, which not only ruin quality straws, but also harm the environment.

One can also use make-up remover sheets or wipes to get stains out.  There are no guarantees on getting stains out of hats, but it is always worth a try.
